Two Missouri women were arrested for reportedly abusing their 14-year-old daughter.
Police say Mary Seutter and April Coulson tormented their teenage daughter until she fled her home earlier this month.
“They came over actually really upset when she had come up missing the other day,” neighbor Robert Spease told Fox KC. “I believed she had run off with her boyfriend.”
Police found the girl at her grandmother’s house and learned that her mothers were abusing her since April.
The teen told police that Seutter made her eat a pot pie filled with cat litter. Another time, both mothers assaulted the girl.
The girl recalled to police Seutter telling her “I wish you were one of those 13-year-old kids that wound hang themselves.”
The girl told detectives that on August 11, the pair came home drunk and viciously attacked her before hitting her head on a bedpost, which she says is when she ran to her grandmother’s house.
Both mothers are charged with child abuse and are being held on $100,000 bond.
