Little Saraia Collins was brutally attacked on the school bus. No one, not even the adult driver, did anything to help.
In a cell phone video of the scene that appears to have been taken by another student, the 9-year-old is heard yelling “Get out of my face I’m not going to fight you!” before being attacked by the elementary students on the bus.
In the shocking video, Saraia is then seen trying to protect herself from the blows and screaming.
On Tuesday, the superintendent of the Prince George County school district in Maryland where Saraia goes to school said that the main girl seen on the tape beating up Saraia has been suspended and more children would be punished for their part in the fight.
They have also launched an investigation into the bus driver, who continued to carry on the route as the fight erupted and did not intervene to help Saraia.
Saraia’s suffered a minor concussion in the attack and said she is now afraid “it’s gonna happen all over again” if she gets back on the bus.
She is currently taking the week off from school to heal. Her family is looking to place her in another school where she can feel safe.
